Sherrill Slams Ciattarelli’s Surrender To Trump 
BLOOMFIELD — Mikie Sherrill released the following statement after Jack Ciattarelli’s “Surrender to Trump” tele-rally:

“Tonight, Jack Ciattarelli once again pledged never to take Trump to court over any of his illegal Executive Orders. That is a breathtaking statement considering the lawlessness coming from Trump’s Washington. No governor should ever make that pledge, regardless of party. New Jersey deserves a strong governor who will stand up for our state, our values, and most importantly the rule of law. While Jack has made clear he will always surrender, my pledge is to lead — because in the Navy, I took an oath to put our country and Constitution first.

”Donald Trump continues to threaten to defund New Jersey and attack our rights and freedoms, but I’ll continue to stand for the people of New Jersey and protect our future.”
