SHERRILL TOPS NJ HOUSE FUNDRAISING RECORD FOR THIRD STRAIGHT QUARTER WITH $2.7 MILLION IN Q3, ENTERS FINAL WEEKS WITH $2.6 COH

 

Fairfield, NJ — Today the Mikie Sherrill for Congress campaign announced that for the third quarter in a row, Mikie Sherrill broke the New Jersey House fundraising record, with $2.7 million raised in the third quarter. This brings Mikie Sherrill’s total raise to $7 million, and she enters the last 30 days of the election with $2.6 million cash on hand.

 

“I am humbled by the support our campaign has received as we head into the final month of this race,” said Mikie Sherrill. “Our community is ready for a Representative who will work hard to improve the quality of life for our residents, and the continued support for our vision of new leadership that puts people over politics is inspiring.”

 

For the last three quarters Sherrill has set and broken the New Jersey fundraising record for U.S. House candidates. She raised $1.1 million in the first quarter, and $1.9 million in the second quarter of 2018.



As a U.S. Navy veteran, former prosecutor, and mother of four, Mikie Sherrill is focused on bringing new leadership to Congress. She will work with Republicans and Democrats to restore the full state and local tax deduction for New Jersey taxpayers, work to fix the Affordable Care Act to bring down health care costs, and focus on creating good paying jobs in New Jersey.
