Signorello, Graner and Mehrotra kickoff Campaign to ‘Win LD-21 in ’21’
Springfield ̶ Joseph Signorello III, Elizabeth Graner and Anjali Mehrotra kicked off their campaign on Wednesday in Springfield. The event marked the official start of the Democratic campaign to Win LD21 in ’21. The kickoff was attended by special guest First Lady Tammy Murphy, and drew a large crowd of eager supporters.
“There was incredible energy in the room, to the point where you could feel it,” said Senate Candidate Joseph Signorello, III. “There’s no doubt that momentum is strong in LD-21 for Governor Murphy and his entire ticket.”
The campaign kickoff was a chance for the candidates to outline some of their top priorities to supporters. The Signorello, Graner and Mehrotra slate is running on a robust platform of growing our economy and investing in infrastructure while protecting the environment and preparing children for the digital age by expanding computer literacy education.
“The support from last night was overwhelming,” said Assembly candidate Elizabeth Graner. “It gave new meaning to why Joe, Anjali and I took up this fight in the first place. We are excited to be a part of the change here in LD-21.”
“The turnout last night shows that the residents of LD-21 are ready for change and leaders that represent their values,” said Assembly candidate Anjali Mehrotra. “I feel more invigorated than ever to fight for them in Trenton, and to serve this district in whatever way I can.”
Combined, the Signorello, Graner and Mehrotra slate has been endorsed by Union County Democratic Committee, Somerset County Democratic Committee, Morris County Democratic Organization, UFCW Local 152 and UFCW Local 360, Health Professionals and Allied Employees (HPAE), New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) and NOW NJ PAC.
