Speaker Coughlin on Assemblyman Chiaravalloti Announcement
(TRENTON) – Following Assembly Majority Whip Nicholas Chiaravalloti’s announcement Monday they he will not seek reelection to a fourth term, Assembly Speaker Craig J. Coughlin (D-Middlesex) issued the following statement:
“During his time in office, Assemblyman Chiaravalloti has been a tireless and dedicated advocate not only for his constituents in the 31st Legislative District, but for all of New Jersey’s nine million residents.
“As part of my Leadership team, I have relied upon Nicholas for his guidance, counsel and political acumen. I’m fortunate to have had the unique opportunity to work closely with him. Nicholas has become a friend and I will continue to seek out his advice through the remainder of his term.
“I wish nothing but the best for Assemblyman Chiaravalloti and his family in all future endeavors. I know he will continue to be a strong and respected voice for the people of New Jersey for many years to come.”
