Speaker Coughlin on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

(TRENTON) – In observance of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, Speaker Craig Coughlin (D-Middlesex) released the following statement:

“Though the attack on the Pearl Harbor naval base took place 78 years ago, President Franklin Roosevelt was correct in saying December 7 would be a day that ‘will live in infamy.’ That fateful attack truly had a lasting impact on our country.

“Today we honor the memories of the thousands of soldiers and civilians who died that day, and the millions of Americans who would courageously sacrifice their lives in the war that followed.”
