Democratic Candidate for Sheriff Packs Over 800 Supporters into iconic Brownstone venue

PATERSON, NJ — Democrat Jerry Speziale raised over $250,000 for his campaign for Passaic County Sheriff at a packed fundraising event tonight. The Speziale campaign packed over 800 supporters into the iconic Brownstone catering venue in Paterson, with the candidate addressing the capacity crowd along with County Commissioner candidates Sean Duffy, Derya Taskin and Pedro Liranzo.

“The energy in the room tonight was off the charts and I’m so thankful to everyone who came out to support our campaign to put the power back into the hands of the people of Passaic County, not the party bosses,” said Speziale. “I want to thank my brothers and sisters in law enforcement and in organized labor for their steadfast support, as well as all the Passaic County Democrats who are ready for a new direction and the kind of honest, independent leadership that our communities deserve. We’re ready to run through the finish line over the next seven weeks and work absolutely tirelessly to win this election.”

The Speziale event was attended by numerous supporters from organized labor, including representatives from the Passaic County Building Trades, the Passaic County Central Labor Council, Paterson PBA Local #1, Paterson FMBA and numerous others.
