in New Jersey to Raise a Family

Somerville, NJ – Somerset County was named as the Best County to Raise a Family in New Jersey by the website Stacker as a part of their review of every state in the country. The review focused on Somerset County’s diverse populations, abundant natural recreational beauty and education.

“I completely agree with Stacker, which is why I choose to raise my family here in Somerset County,” said Freeholder Director Shanel Robinson. “We work hard to make sure every resident of Somerset County’s diverse community can enjoy the amenities and services we all need to raise strong, healthy families.”

In naming Somerset County as the top county in NJ for raising a family, Stacker wrote:

With a per-pupil-expenditure much higher than the national median, and top-performing schools, education is paramount in Somerset County.
