STANFIELD ENDORSES BASHAW FOR US SENATE

Stanfield:  “Bashaw is the best candidate on border security, the economy, and keeping our families safe”

MARLTON — Former State Senator and Burlington County Sheriff Jean Stanfield today endorsed Curtis Bashaw for the Republican nomination for United States Senate.

“I’m endorsing Curtis Bashaw because he’s the best candidate to represent New Jersey Republicans this fall on important issues including securing our open borders, strengthening our national economy, and keeping our families safe,” said Stanfield.  “As a former Sheriff, I know how critical it is to support our law enforcement officers in the line of duty, and I’m confident Curtis will always have their backs.”

“It’s my great honor to receive Senator Stanfield’s endorsement,” said Curtis Bashaw. “Jean’s served Burlington County for over two decades and is a proven vote-getter who will be an asset to our campaign.  But more importantly, Jean understands how important it is for Republicans to take back this Senate seat from the Murphy-Menendez machine politicians who are taking our state and our country in the wrong direction on every major issue, ranging from border security and crime to inflation.”

Jean Stanfield served in the state Senate from 2021 to 2023, and as an Assemblywoman from 2019-2021. The second woman sheriff in New Jersey history, she served as Burlington County Sheriff for 18 years.
