Statement by Governor Murphy on the Passing of Former Assemblyman Mike Arnone 

“Tammy and I are saddened to learn of the passing of former Assemblyman and lifelong Red Bank resident, Mike Arnone.

“Assemblyman Arnone dedicated his life to serving others as a veteran of the U.S. Army, Mayor of Red Bank, and Assemblyman in the New Jersey General Assembly over seven terms. His legacy includes his sponsorship of Megan’s Law and serving as a member of the Racing Commission up until his recent passing.

“We send our heartfelt condolences to his family, especially his five children, John, Suzanne, Mark, Paul, and Michael.”
