Statement from Governor Murphy on President Biden’s Enactment of Bipartisan Safer Communities Act

“This is a huge step forward for commonsense gun safety. This is a huge step forward for safer communities. But it cannot be our only or last step. I applaud the President and the bipartisan members of the Senate for their leadership in proving progress on gun safety is possible. And I look forward to my continuing work with the New Jersey Legislature so we can enact the next round of commonsense gun safety laws for our state.”
