Statement from Governor Murphy on the Resignation of Joe Sanzari from the Waterfront Commission
“I nominated Joe Sanzari as New Jersey’s Commissioner to the Waterfront Commission to ensure our state’s transition to a new governing agency at our ports would be in capable hands. With an expansive history of public service, philanthropy, and the promotion of economic development, I knew Joe was the right person for the job. Joe led with honor and distinction and I thank him for his service and his willingness to continue supporting our state’s efforts to move New Jersey forward in other capacities. I will be nominating his successor shortly.”
