Statement from Governor Murphy on the Retirement of Senator Steve Oroho
“Steve Oroho exemplifies how our politics should be – holding true to one’s positions but never letting the political get in the way of the need to connect personally with those with whom we may disagree. As a committeeman in Franklin Borough, as a Sussex County Freeholder, as a Senator, and as Senate Minority Leader, Steve has always sought to do what was right for the people he served by being willing to talk and keeping an open mind. With his retirement at the end of the current legislative session, the Senate will lose a gentleman. I look forward to working with him across the coming year as he prepares to leave the State House.”
