Statement from Mayor Moench Regarding Sanofi’s Decision to Stay in Bridgewater

“Yesterday, I was contacted by Sanofi’s government relations representative who informed me that the company has recommitted to their Bridgewater site and will remain in our community. Sanofi’s decision to stay, even through difficult public health circumstances and an ever changing work environment, helps to ensure the vitality of Bridgewater’s commercial footprint while maintaining the high quality of life that our residents enjoy. Sanofi is a leader in the global pharmaceutical industry and their presence in our community underscores my Administration’s vision of making Bridgewater a hub of innovation through business retention and thoughtful development. For more than 20 years, Sanofi has been a valued corporate citizen and we appreciate that they have constantly shown a willingness to not just exist in Bridgewater, but to take an active role in the community and engage in our community activities and events.”
