MOORESTOWN, NJ – Healey for Congress Campaign Manager Theresa Furmato Velardi today issued the following statement:

“In another sign of Andy’s failing re-election effort, Congressman Kim – who continually claims he’s running on his record – has launched an impostor website, a ham-handed tactic to mislead voters.

Bob Healey’s official campaign website is found at https://www.bobhealeyfornj.com, but Andy and his campaign staff are hoping to fool voters with a fake website that uses Bob Healey’s name.

Last week, in another signal of Kim losing ground, a major media outlet lowered the Kim campaign’s rating from ‘likely Democrat’ to ‘lean Democrat.’

You would think someone who has been in Washington his entire adult life – including the last four in congress – would seek to run on his record, but even that has been concocted as well. Yesterday, it was reported that Andy Kim is running an ad that says ‘I wrote a bill’ that official congressional records show was authored by another Democrat.

In Andy Kim’s case there is no record to run on unless one counts Biden’s spending spree that has caused record inflation, Andy’s caucus’ promotion of defunding the police that’s allowed crime rates to soar, and Andy’s quiet opposition to American energy independence that’s caused the price of gas to skyrocket as successes.

So far Third District voters have been subjected to several million dollars worth of Andy’s negative attack ads on Bob Healey.

Now, another Kim ad hominem, last minute smear based on a fake website. So much for the carefully cultivated, phony ‘nice guy’ act. The real Andy Kim is now unleashed.

For all the time Andy Kim has spent in Washington, he still cannot give voters one positive reason to re-elect him.”
