Stateside Affairs to Host Event to Help Fight Childhood Cancer!

Every year, Stateside Affairs works with a non-profit organization to raise awareness about a special cause that can help positively impact our community. This year, we partnered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS), a global leader in the fight against cancer. LLS mission is to Cure Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin’s Disease and Myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

As a team, several of our family members and friends have been affected by blood cancers, so we wanted to do something to honor their lives and help others in the process. Personally, a few years ago, my sweet father-in-law, Kevin, lost his battle to Acute Myeloid Leukemia. While his cancer ultimately took his life, not everyone’s fate has to be the same.

This is why we are proud to announce that our team “Fight Childhood Cancer” will be hosting a car wash on Saturday, May 7 from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. in Manasquan, New Jersey. Our goal is to raise funds for seven year-old Grayson and six year-old Christine, because no child should have to fight this disease. If you are in the area, please consider stopping by our event. If you cannot join us, kindly consider making a donation. Thank you to all those who’ve donated to our campaign!

All proceeds will go towards the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
