Sweeney Statement on the Passing of Mayor Gerald Tamburro

Trenton – Senate President Steve Sweeney issued the following statement on the passing of Monroe Mayor Gerald Tamburro:

“This is a sad loss for his family, the people he served with faith and dedication, and all of us who knew and admired him. Gerald Tamburro was a selfless public servant who cared deeply for the Monroe community and worked tirelessly to make their lives better. He set an example as a public official and as a devoted family man we all can respect.

“I express my sincere condolences to the Tamburro family during this difficult time.”
