Mountain Lakes, N.J. – Today, Democrat T.C. McCourt conceded his race for Morris County Commissioner.

“Morris County, in the not too distant future, will a elect a Democratic County Commissioner.

Unfortunately, as far as this election, that Democrat won’t be me.

Though not successful, this campaign has been an incredible learning experience. I’ve seen parts of Morris County that I didn’t know existed.

I’ve made TONS of new friends.

And I think we’ve helped start a conversation about what we really want out of our county government.

Today, I’m happy to congratulate Commissioners Krickus, Smith, and Shaw on their victories.

But let me make one thing crystal clear: that conversation we started is far from over.”
