Terry: JCBOE President Thomas should resign!

Dear Jersey City,

As you may or may not know, Sudhan Thomas, President of Jersey City Board of Education was brought up on corruption charges of taking cash bribes. As an individual who supported him as a community activist, and during my elected position as Executive Vice President of College Democrats of New Jersey, I am deeply saddened by the news today. If the allegations of him taking $35,000 in cash bribes is true, he should indeed be punished to the fullest extent of the law as this type of behavior is not a good role model for students in the school district.

In the most recent election, Sudan asked for my endorsement and I told him “NO” due to the other allegations of him taking money from the Jersey City Employment and Training Program.

In conclusion, Sudhan should resign immediately!
