Award-winning journalist and Gay Rights and Cannabis Activist Jay Lassiter Throws First Pitch to Crowd of Thousands
TRENTON — Kicking off Pride month in New Jersey, the Associated Builders and Contractors of New Jersey last night sponsored Pride Night at Trenton Thunder stadium. Award-winning journalist and gay rights and cannabis activist Jay Lassiter threw out the first pitch to a crowd of thousands and the game concluded with a fabulous fire works display.
“Bringing inclusion and diversity to the construction industry has been a top priority of ABC-NJ, not just during Pride Month, but all 365 days of the year. Today was a fantastic day to celebrate Pride Month, and there’s no better all-star to throw out the first pitch than New Jersey’s own Jay Lassiter, a true trailblazer for equality and the LGBTQI+ community.”
