The Nature Conservancy Announces Rebecca Hilbert as External Affairs Associate for Government Affairs Team
CHESTER, NJ – The Nature Conservancy (TNC) announced today the appointment of Rebecca Hilbert as TNC’s External Affairs Associate where she will co-lead TNC’s state policy work.
“I am thrilled to have Rebecca join our team,” said Phil Echevarria, Director of Government Relations at The Nature Conservancy in New Jersey. “Rebecca is a respected member of the environmental community with extensive experience advancing environmental policy.”
Rebecca previously served as the Senior Policy Manager at the League of Conservation voters where she was the state lead for the Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed, spearheaded the Green in 21 initiatives, and organized and led legislative meeting around key environmental policy issues. Prior to that, she worked with the Pinelands Preservation Alliance and Camden Community Partnership.
“Rebecca’s policy expertise and organizational skills will be a valuable asset as TNC advances our legislative priorities,” said Eric Olsen, Director of Conservation Programs at The Nature Conservancy in New Jersey.
Rebecca received a BA in Environmental Studies from Richard Stockton University and serves as a member of the Planning Board in Franklin Township.
