The O’Jays to headline July 4th Freedom Festival on the Camden Waterfront

Details:           The annual Freedom Festival and Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular will be held at Wiggins Waterfront Park this Monday featuring a performance by the world-famous R&B group, The O’Jays. The festival is presented by the Board of Commissioners and the City of Camden.

“Every year, this festival brings thousands of people together to celebrate America while enjoying fireworks, musical performances, food and drinks on the beautiful Camden Waterfront,” said Commissioner Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Camden County Department of Events and Community Outreach. “The Fourth of July is about celebrating what it means to be a community and there’s no better place to be with your neighbors and observe the holiday than at the Freedom Festival.”

The run of show for the Fourth of July Celebration is as follows:

• 5 p.m. – Kickoff Tri-County Symphonic Band/salute to America and veterans
• 6:30 p.m. – Travel Lanes performance
• 8 p.m.  – The O’Jays performance
• 9:30 p.m. – Fireworks Spectacular over the Delaware River

Wiggins Waterfront Park is located at Riverside Drive and Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard in Camden.
