Thursday Town Hall: New Jersey Leaders Discuss Medicare for All in the Age of COVID

New Jersey (Statewide) –  New Jersey politicians, community organizers, unions, and medical workers will discuss how Medicare for All would greatly benefit the lives and health of New Jersey residents during a virtual town hall on Thursday, June 17. The conversation will center on how a Medicare for All healthcare system would better prepare the state for a healthcare emergency like a pandemic, and how New Jersey is becoming the epicenter of a grassroots movement to enact the policy.

The town hall, organized by Our Revolution New Jersey and Public Citizen, and cosponsored by Make the Road NJ Action, People’s Organization for Progress, and National Nurses United, comes after the effort to pass the 10th Medicare for All local resolution in the state is underway, which includes the capital of Trenton.
