Tim Alexander for Congress Campaign Responds to Jeff Van Drew Statement on League of Women Voters Debate

(Galloway) Zacharia Hartman, Tim Alexander’s Campaign Manager, released the following response to the Jeff Van Drew Campaign’s excuse to dodge the debate scheduled by the League of Women Voters.

“ The League of Women Voters has been hosting debates between candidates at all levels of office in a fair, non-partisan manner since the 70s. The claim by Van Drew’s team that the integrity of that process is suspect due to the activities of two cherry-picked members in their private lives is laughable. If Jeff is scared to debate Tim he should just admit it, rather than reaching for pathetic excuses.

And if Jeff’s team is so concerned about what constituents are saying about him on social media, maybe he and his team should try spending their time working for the people of this district instead of combing through their feeds.”
