Tom Malinowski for Congress Releases Second TV Ad, “Choice-Vote”

(Basking Ridge, NJ) Today, Tom Malinowski for Congress released its second television ad, “Choice-Vote.” With the shadow of the radical Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade looming over the midterms elections, this 30-second ad puts a spotlight on how voting gives New Jerseyans the freedom to choose this November. That’s why the New Jersey women highlighted in the ad call out Tom Kean Jr. for his long and dangerous, MAGA-aligned record on a woman’s right to an abortion and freedom to access reproductive healthcare. Alongside Tom, these strong women demand that our state and country not go back to a time when women risked their lives because the freedom over their own bodies was under political influence.

During his 20-year term as a Trenton politician, Kean Jr. took extreme votes against funding for Planned Parenthood, which would have denied New Jersey women access to essential care, including mammograms and cancer screenings; supported Trump’s Supreme Court nominees; and was endorsed by National Right to Life –  a group that campaigned to criminalize abortions with no exceptions for rape or incest. Kean Jr.’s last vote in the New Jersey State Senate was to reject the codification of Roe v. Wade at the state level- knowing the Supreme Court was about to overturn Roe. Let Kean Jr.’s  record on women’s reproductive healthcare speak for itself.

“Tom Kean Jr. has made it clear that he stands with the MAGA extremists and if elected, will vote to pass a nationwide abortion ban,” said Campaign Manager Brooke Zindulka. “The stakes this November could not be higher.
