Traphagen Sworn into Office in Clinton Town

On January 1st at the Clinton Town Council re-organization meeting, Councilman Ross Traphagen was sworn in as the youngest municipal official in the state by former Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli. Also in attendance for Councilman Traphagen’s swearing in ceremony was Senate Minority Leader Tom Kean Jr. and Freeholder-Elect Zach Rich.

“It was a true honor to be sworn in as Councilman by Former Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli”, Traphagen said. “Specials thanks to Senator Tom Kean, Jr. and Freeholder-Elect Zach Rich for joining me at the Town’s re-organization meeting.”

Mayor Janice Kovach was sworn in by Governor Phil Murphy, and Congressman Tom Malinowski also attended the ceremony.

“I am excited to begin to get to work for the community that shaped me into who I am”, said Traphagen. “The election season is behind us, and it is now time to put partisan labels aside and work together for the betterment of our Town.”
