Treasury Announces Upcoming Departure of Assistant Treasurer Jennifer Keyes-Maloney

(TRENTON) – The New Jersey Department of the Treasury announced today that Assistant Treasurer Jennifer Keyes-Maloney will be departing the Treasurer’s Office on April 14, after four years of service to the department, to assume the role of Associate VP of Government & College Relations at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ).

“For the past four years, I have been grateful for the partnership of Jennifer Keyes-Maloney as we worked to navigate the unprecedented challenges spurred by the pandemic and adapt to the changing work environment,” said State Treasurer Elizabeth Maher Muoio. “Her work ethic and commitment to the people of New Jersey have served her well as she led several of Treasury’s public-facing divisions and oversaw the implementation of numerous tax policy changes. I wish her all the best in her next endeavor.”

Keyes-Maloney joined the Treasury Department in early 2018 as the Director of Legislative Affairs and was later promoted to Assistant Treasurer, overseeing Treasury’s divisions of Taxation, Revenue and Enterprise Services, Risk Management, and Unclaimed Property.

“I have had the distinct privilege of working with so many incredible public servants while serving in my role with Department of the Treasury,” said Assistant Treasurer Jennifer Keyes-Maloney. “This Department impacts the lives of New Jerseyans in countless and critical ways. I am honored to have been able to be part of this incredible organization.”

Prior to joining Treasury, she served as Assistant Director for Government Relations for the New Jersey Principal and Supervisors Association, as well as the New Jersey Judiciary’s Administrative Office of the Courts.
