Recent Street Crimes Enforcement Seizes Multiple Guns, Thousands of Doses of Dangerous Narcotics

Cases include TPD Officers Uncovering Gun Stash, Investigating Resident and Business  Quality of Life Complaints and Seizing ATVs Operating Illegally Within City Limits

Trenton, N.J. – Police Director Steve E. Wilson today announced that the Trenton Police Department (TPD) executed several recent weapon and drug enforcement actions that resulted in the seizure of 10 handguns, more than 2,000 grams of narcotics and more than $6,000 in suspected drug proceeds.

  • On Feb. 22, 2022, detectives received a call about a stash house located at 8 Eisenhower Avenue. A search of the site revealed 460 grams of crack and four handguns.
  • Robert Raysor, 47, of Trenton, was arrested and charged with drug and weapons offenses following a motor vehicle stop executed by the N.J. State Police and the TPD Street Crimes Unit. Officers allegedly found Raysor with a 9mm handgun, cocaine, and $4,490 in cash.
  • Kenneth Alston, 20, of Trenton, was arrested on Jan. 21, 2022, and charged with weapon offenses and resisting arrest following a motor vehicle stop that turned into a foot pursuit. Alston was allegedly found with a .45 handgun with a laser sight and ammunition.
  • Jaquai Harrell, 20, of Trenton, was arrested on Jan. 6, 2022, and charged with drug offenses during a Daytime Task Force investigation in South Trenton following numerous open-air drug deal complaints. Officers stopped Harrell in his vehicle near 65 Asbury Street and found 31 grams of crack cocaine, 250 decks of heroin, and $1,051 in cash.
  • Jadon Robinson, 23, of Trenton, was arrested on Jan. 23, 2022, and charged with obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest. Street Crimes Detectives patrolling the area of W. Hanover Street and Calhoun Street observed several ATV and dirt bike operators at the USA Gas Station. Robinson was taken into custody for obstructing and resisting arrest when he attempted to flee from detectives. Two ATVs were confiscated.
  • Parrish Whitmore, 28, of Trenton, was arrested on Feb. 2, 2022, and charged with weapons offenses after Street Crimes Detectives responded to the area of the 600 block of MLK Blvd on information of an armed individual. The suspect description led them to Whitmore, who allegedly was found to be in possession of a firearm.
  • Bernard J. Branaham, 28, and Imirrah S. Marshall, 20, of Trenton, were arrested on Feb. 6, 2022, and charged with weapon offenses following a motor vehicle stop in front of 57 Titus Avenue. Officers allegedly found a handgun with a high-capacity magazine with 14 rounds of ammunition in their possession.
  • Jamil T. Harrington, 25, and Kenneth Alston (same defendant as above), 20, of Trenton, were arrested on Feb. 9, 2022, and charged with weapon offenses after detectives allegedly found Alston and Harrington parked at a 7-Eleven with a handgun.
  • Brent Frank, Eduardo Rivera, 42, and Jason Delgato-Machem, 34, of Trenton, were arrested on Feb. 10, 2022, and charged with drug offenses following a Daytime Task Force surveillance operation downtown to investigate recent complaints from business owners of narcotics activity in the early hours near 242 E. Hanover Street. Officers seized 56 decks of heroin during the arrests.
  • Bayshawn Tift, 37, Tyshiek Shaw, 31, and Teresa Sutphin, 58, of Trenton, were arrested on Feb. 10, 2022, and charged with drug offenses. The Director’s office received numerous complaints for the apartment complex at 39-43 Hermitage Avenue regarding trespassing, various quality of life offenses and rampant drug distribution and use. Tift and Shaw were then allegedly observed by law enforcement distributing suspected narcotics in front of the apartment complex. Following one of Tift’s sales, mobile arrests teams conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested the buyer Sutphin, who was found in possession of crack cocaine.
  • Donald Robinson-White, 33, of Trenton, was arrested on Feb. 18, 2022, and charged weapon offenses after detectives allegedly observed him discarding a handgun while fleeing law enforcement.

These charges and allegations are merely accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
