UCDC Chair Scutari and Vice-Chair Carter Laud Democratic Wins Up and Down the Ticket

(LINDEN) Union County Democratic Chairman and New Jersey State Senate President Nick Scutari celebrated Democratic victories across Union County in a statement after Election Day vote-by-mail tallies delivered a clearer picture of Democratic success in 2022.
“We’re thrilled to have picked up additional seats locally in Berkeley Heights and Cranford, to have defended seats in Garwood, Linden, Rahway, Roselle Park, Scotch Plains, and Springfield, and of course, to continue to enjoy overwhelming support for our County Commissioners and Constitutional officers. We ran spirited campaigns in traditionally Republican areas and we made huge strides that bode well for the future. In many local races, candidates outperformed their running mates at the top of the ticket which reflects the hard work and the quality of their service to their communities. Union County Democrats are delivering up and down the ticket and we look forward to continued success as we focus on common-sense reforms that are making the County a better and more affordable place to live. Voters have made it clear: Union County’s Democrats are delivering,” said Scutari.
Union County Democratic Vice-Chair Assemblywoman Linda Carter added “The Union County Democratic Committee is committed to electing public servants of the highest quality and candidates who reflect their communities and their values. We’re proud to have elected such a talented group of public officials who will serve their communities for years to come.”
