Treasurer – Terri Tauber
Membership Vice President – Linda Weber
Program Vice President – Colleen Mahr

Denise Wilkerson is the first African American to serve in the position of President of the Union County chapter. Wilkerson is a community activist, elected official, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and proud feminist. “What an amazing honor to serve as president in 2020, which will be the 100-year anniversary of the women’s suffrage movement. As President, my goal is to apply intersectionality to the women’s movement. Our tactics will take into consideration the impact race, religion, class and gender have on women’s issues, so our advocacy can deliver change for ALL women,” said Ms. Wilkerson. “I am excited to lead the Union County chapter of NOW and to work with an amazing group of women.”

NOW Union County focuses on six priority issues: reproductive rights, ending sex discrimination/constitutional equality, promoting diversity and ending racism, economic justice, stopping violence against women, and LGBTQIA+ rights. The chapter welcomes new members to help fight for women’s rights on the local and national level.
