United We Win Launches $500K Multi-Media Campaign Supporting Cory Booker as Debate Deadline Approaches
Organization Working to Ensure Next Debate Features Diverse Field Representative of Democratic Party
SECAUCUS, N.J. — United We Win, a Super PAC formed to support U.S. Senator Cory Booker’s campaign for President through independent expenditures, is launching an aggressive $500,000 multimedia advertising campaign to support Senator Booker as he seeks to qualify for the December debate. The campaign includes television, digital and phone programs in Iowa and South Carolina, as well as other media designed to support the Senator’s campaign, including bus ads in Washington, DC. The effort comes ahead of the December 19 Democratic debate, where despite the original field of candidates being the most diverse in our nation’s history, the stage would not nearly reflect that diversity if Senator Booker is not on it.
“No Democrat can defeat Donald Trump and win the presidency without cultivating a diverse, multi-racial coalition of support, and a debate that doesn’t include a single non-white candidate would be a tremendous disservice to our party,” said Philip Swibinski, spokesman for United We Win. “Cory Booker’s voice must be heard in this debate, and our organization is committed to getting that message out to voters in the early states who hold the power to ensure that the candidate best positioned to recreate the Obama coalition is not shut out.”
In a major speech earlier today, Senator Booker highlighted the stakes heading into the next debate and the urgent need for Democrats to support his campaign.
