UTCA STATEMENT ON GAS TAX DECREASE
UTCA STATEMENT ON GAS TAX DECREASE
Farmingdale – Utility and Transportation Contractors Association (UTCA) Executive Director David Rible issued the following statement today on New Jersey’s gas tax decreasing on October 1:
“This demonstrates that the Transportation Trust Fund law we fought so hard for is working and effective. The state will continue to be able to fund critical infrastructure projects while also avoiding unnecessarily overcharging drivers. It represents responsible, smart governing and effective public policy at its best. In the meantime, as always, UTCA’s members, and our partners in labor, stand ready, willing and able to get to work on these critical projects.”
