TRENTON, NJ — Today, Assemblyman Anthony S. Verrelli (15 th Legislative District) is pleased to commemorate endorsements of his 2019 General Assembly candidacy by the following five organizations:

● New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association (NJPBA)
● Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey (PFANJ)
● Latino Action Network (LAN)
● Jersey Nurses Economic Security Organization (JNESO) • District Council One
● Humane Society Legislative Fund (HSLF)

The New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association (NJPBA) first announced its endorsement of Verrelli in September 2019.

“I am beyond grateful to be endorsed by the NJPBA ,” said Verrelli . “Their members stand on the frontlines of protecting our communities. When trouble and danger arise, New Jersey families know that a highly-trained and dedicated police officer will be there to answer the call. I am very thankful for the work our great police officers do here in the 15 th district and across to New Jersey to keep our families safe.”

The Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey (PFANJ) announced its endorsement of Verrelli on 13 September 2019.

“Our firefighters and EMT professionals are brave public servants who do not flinch in the face of crisis or adversity,” said Verrelli . “New Jeresyans can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that whenever tragedy strikes, firefighters will quickly arrive on the scene with the skill and bravery needed to save homes and lives. It is an honor to be endorsed by the Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey .”

The Latino Action Network (LAN) first announced its endorsement of Verrelli on 14 October 2019. “It is a privilege to receive an endorsement from the Latino Action Network (LAN ),” said Verrelli . “ As the Trump administration continues its unwarranted assault on immigrants, it is important that we remain ready and willing partners for our immigrant communities here in New Jersey. I will continue my
work in the General Assembly to ensure all New Jerseyans have ample opportunities to pursue the American Dream. ”

The Jersey Nurses Economic Security Organization (JNESO) District Council One first announced its endorsement of Verrelli on 15 October 2019. “I am humbled to receive the endorsement of JNESO District Council One .” said Verrelli . “ We in New Jersey are lucky to have some of the best nurses, medical technicians, and other healthcare professionals in the country. Their selfless work gives
countless New Jerseyans and their families peace of mind. I am proud to support the 5,000 members of JNESO District Council One, and I will continue to empower and support them through my work in the New Jersey General Assembly.”

The Humane Society Legislative Fund announced its endorsement of Verrelli in October 2019. “At home, I care for Luigi, a Shih-Tzu,” said Verrelli . “I think about animal-welfare issues in the same way I approach caring for my dog. If ever something were to happen to Luigi, my family and I would be devastated. The Humane Society Legislative Fund works hard every day to lobby for animal-rights laws
that protect animals in the same way we protect our pets at home. I will continue to work hard to ensure we put an end to cruel and inhumane cosmetic testing on animals, protect our wildlife, and advocate for common-sense legislation that ends mass-breeding operations. I thank the Humane Society Legislative Fund for supporting my candidacy, and look forward to advancing our shared goals.”
