Former Senate Candidate and TV Newscaster Calls for Party Unity to Beat Democrats in November

FLORHAM PARK, NJ — At a Morris County diner, former candidate for US Senate and TV Newscaster Alex Zdan today endorsed his one-time Republican rival, Curtis Bashaw, for United States Senate.

“Unity in the Republican party is even more important now than it was last week to mobilize against the radical progressive agenda of Democrat insider Andy Kim,” said Alex Zdan. “Today I am putting my support behind Curtis Bashaw as the candidate to beat Democrats in November. He and I hold shared views on the majority of the issues: securing our borders, supporting our military, police and first responders, rebuilding our economy, and ending the failed leadership of Bob Menendez and Joe Biden. I’m confident that Curtis Bashaw can unite the party, and will help him achieve that while working towards Republican down ballot wins across the state.”

“It was an honor to have Alex Zdan endorse our campaign and call for party unity this morning at Alan Ashkinaze’s Tuesday Group meeting in Florham Park,” said Curtis Bashaw. “Alex brought energy and passion to the race., as well as a deep understanding of the issues that matter to New Jersey voters. We look forward to working with him on this mission to beat Andy Kim and win back the Menendez seat for Republicans this fall.”
