Justin Strickland's Statement on MCDC Screening Process

Justin Strickland's Statement on MCDC Screening Process
Integrity is the cornerstone of Justin’s character.
You may have seen the results of MCDC’s candidate screening process that clearly bolster the power of the political machine, promotes political insiders, and attempts to influence the election results on February 5.
Some facts about Justin Strickland for Congress:
- Our grassroots campaign team has 35+ members, all volunteers–no salaries
- Our campaign had the most petition signatures of any Morris County candidate
- Our campaign is the ONLY campaign to launch with detailed progressive policy providing specific solutions to address affordability
- Justin is 1 of 12 candidates to have run for a county office in Morris
- Justin is 1 of 3 candidates to serve as an elected official in Morris County
- Justin is 1 of 5 candidates to have federal employee experience
Like Zohran Mamdani, Justin is not a party machine candidate. He’s not afraid to stand up to his own party. He’s focused on making life better for regular people. Justin’s courage and fight is the same he had when serving our country in Iraq.
Let’s be clear, MCDC leaders aren’t remaining neutral in the CD-11 special election. They’re trying to influence the convention vote on December 14 and the primary vote on February 5. By sharing the screening scores with the press they’re trying to eliminate a true grassroots candidate who is beholden to the people and not the party. Stand up with us against this type of politics.
