WEST NEW YORK – Newly affirmed Republican LG candidate Woodcliff Mayor Carlos this morning at his inaugural press conference refused to throw a punch at fellow Cuban American U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ).

“In this country, you’re innocent until proved guilty,” said Rendo, referring to Menendez, who’s under indictment for corruption and facing a fall trial.

An immigration attorney who spent his early years in this country in Hudson County, and whose law offices are in North Bergen, the mayor told reporters that Menendez has done considerable good and he would not judge him.
