Report: Bergen Sheriff’s Office Investigating Caramagna Crash

Elmwood Park Mayor Frank Caramagna resigned from office after being charged by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office with election fraud for filling in ballots for voters.

The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office was investigating a weekend crash involving former Elmwood Park Mayor Frank Caramagna and a borough police vehicle, according to the Daily Voice.

“Investigators were examining the contention that Caramagna, who resigned after being arrested on voter fraud charges earlier this year, made an illegal U-turn on Market Street, causing Sunday’s accident, authorities confirmed.”
