Report: Jalloh Confirmed as Carter’s Chief of Staff

Assemblywoman Linda Carter (D-22) has confirmed the appointment of Abubakar “AJ” Jalloh as her Chief of Staff, effective immediately, according to a Tapinto report.

Jalloh – the brother of former Freeholder Mohammed Jalloh – will remain as Plainfield City Clerk and will serve as Chief of Staff on a “Part-Time” basis, according to Carter.

Jalloh, who previously served as Chief of Staff to the late Assemblyman Jerry Green, has served as Plainfield City Clerk since 2011.  He is most notably credited for the technological advances he has brought to the Clerk’s office and to the city of Plainfield.

  1. I have a question. How can Abubaker Jalloh be Plainfield’s full time City Clerk, a part-time Borough Clerk in Riverdale, a town in north Jersey and Chief of Staff to Assemblywoman Linda Carter???
