Report: Sweeney v. Murphy

Politico’s Ryan Hutchins has a piece this morning about how Senate President Steve Sweeney (D-3), “once among the biggest champions of raising taxes on New Jersey’s wealthiest residents, now believes any new taxes are the antithesis to what the state needs.”

Hutchins notes how Sweeney’s stance puts him on a collision course with Governor Phil Murphy, who ran on a millionaire’s tax.
