Robust Voter Turnout in Paterson, Says Sayegh

Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh said Paterson has turned out about 20,000 voters to this point and anticipates that Silk City could get to 24,000.

“In an off year election year like this we usually get about 18,000 votes,” said Sayegh.

“Turnout is strong in the 6th ward,” added the mayor, referring to the district where there is a contest for his old council seat.

“I felt this coming together in the last week,” said Sayegh. “Strong anti-Trump sentiment.”
