Pedro Rodriguez of Paterson, the city’s former deputy mayor, who ran a respectable campaign for mayor last year and finished third, said he backs U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT) for President in 2020.

“Sure, I’m a Bernie Supporter,” Rodriguez told InsiderNJ. “I was undecided between Beto and Bernie, but this is Bernie last chance and Beto will have many other opportunities in the future.”
