Assemblyman Kevin Rooney Announces New Chief of Staff

Assemblyman Kevin J. Rooney announced that Christopher M. Orlando will serve as chief of staff for his legislative office.

“I am proud to announce Christopher as my new chief of staff. He brings years of experience working in state government and within the communities he has served in,” said Rooney (R-Bergen). “I look forward to working with Christopher for the benefit of the 40th Legislative District and all of New Jersey.”

“I am honored to be named Assemblyman Rooney’s chief of staff. Assemblyman Rooney has served his community for over 20 years and brings a wealth of knowledge to the legislature with creative solutions to help New Jersey families,” said Orlando.

Orlando is from Wall Township and previously worked for Assemblywoman Amy Handlin (R-Monmouth) as director of constituent relations and social media. He received a master’s degree in public policy from Monmouth University in 2016 after earning a degree in political science with a minor in communication. He currently resides in Little Falls.
