Roselle Park Goes All In With Mahr

Rselle Park Democratic Chairman Daniel Petrosky and all Roselle Park Democratic Committee Members are supporting Acting Chair Colleen Mahr to chair the Union County Democratic Committee.

This is their statement:

“The Roselle Park Democratic Committee and I are pleased to give our full support to Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr, to be our next Union County Democratic Committee Chair. Our future as a party county-wide is bright because she will bring her tremendous work ethic, knowledge, and experience to the job.

“Colleen has been an active presence in each of the 21 municipalities in Union County, and I can speak personally to how she helped me grow my Committee and Club in Roselle Park. Over the years, she’s made a point to attend many of our local campaign events, helped fundraise, pass out literature, and work as a challenger on Election Day.

“Her personal engagement, record of success and relationships throughout the County speak for themselves. She will continue to build on the core strength of the Party, as she’s done in Fanwood, where she transformed local leadership from Republican to Democrat.

“Colleen strives for excellence every day and has been recognized for her many achieves with awards, accolades, and earned positions of leadership. She’s even risen to the very important office of 1st Vice President of the League of Municipalities, which advocates for local issues to the state government.

“It’s without question that Colleen will bring this experience to ensure well-run County operations that are transparent, efficient, and inclusive. The residents of Union County deserve a leader that represents them, like Colleen does. Now is the time for us to come together to make this happen.

“I’m proud to call Mayor Colleen Mahr my friend and I urge everyone to join us in voting for her on Wednesday, February 21st. Vote #Mahr4Chair: Wednesday, February 21 at 7:00PM at the Grand Centurion in Clark, New Jersey.”
