Ruiz’s War Room: Senator to Walk the East Ward in Support of Amador

In a bill already on its' second reading, NJ Democratic lawmakers propose permitting a candidate for or holder of a public office to use campaign funds for child care expenses inside and outside of the home, as well as in a child care facility.

State Senator M. Teresa Ruiz (D-29) is going all in on behalf of 20-year incumbent East Ward Councilman Augusto Amador as he attempts to put down a challenge by former Newark Police Director/Chief Anthony Campos in the June 12th Runoff.

A veteran ward leader whose husband, Sammy Gonzalez, heads the Democratic Committee in the city’s North Ward section, Ruiz plans to personally campaign in Ironbound districts for Amador.

North Ward Councilman Anibal Ramos and At-Large Councilman Luis Quintana also plan to campaign for Amador, their friend and ally.
