Singh Wins

ATLANTIC CITY – Linwood engineer Hirsh Singh has prevailed in Atlantic County, getting nearly 70% of the vote on the second ballot.

The 2nd District Congressional candidate just won his fourth GOP county line, in this, his home county.

“I’m humbled,” he said.

Singh now has Ocean, Burlington, Camden, and now Atlantic.

Final results:

50 for Grossman;

194 for Turkavage;

235 for Fiocchi;

649 for Singh.

“I’m tired,” Turkavage admitted after the vote. “I knocked on 300 doors.

“I don’t know what the hell I’m going to do,” he added good-naturedly.

  1. If I were Turkavage, I would drop off my petitions early. God forbid if there is traffic again on the way to the Division of Elections.
