U.S. Rep. Albio Sires (D-8) raised $100,000 last night at Liberty House toward his 2018 reelection bid.

One-hundred and fifty people showed up in support, among them U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ), U.S. Rep. Donald Payne, Jr. (D-10), state Senator Nick Sacco (D-32), Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis, Weehawken Mayor Richard Turner, Assemblywoman Angelica Jimenez (D-32), and East Orange Councilman Chris James, executive director of the New Jersey State Democratic Committee.

The fundraiser lays some gravy over the top of the $238K Sires has in his account right now, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
