The Somerset County Democratic Committee unanimously endorsed the reelection of Representatives Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-12) and Tom Malinowski (D-7), Somerset County Clerk Steve Peter, Somerset County Sheriff Darrin Russo, and Somerset County Commissioner Deputy Director Melonie Marano at its annual nominating convention last night.

“Since the election of Clerk Steve Peter in 2017, Somerset County Democrats have not only had great success at the polling booth but also demonstrated great talent in governing at every level,” said Somerset County Democratic Committee Chair Peg Schaffer. “With Democrats leading, Somerset County ensures that its residents are supported even through disasters such as Ida and global crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic.”
