Out of office a week, former Governor Chris Christie was spied in a Morristown eatery this evening with South Jersey Democratic Party power broker George Norcross III.
The meeting occurred just days after those Democrats who worked closest to Christie had a North Jersey meeting of their own at Lunello’s, which Norcross attended.
Norcross, Essex County Executive Joe DiVincenzo and state Senator Brian P. Stack (D-33) formed the core of Christie’s cross-the-aisle big-issues alliance while he served as governor. Their meeting with other party members last week did not include three of the four Democratic Party county chairs who first backed the gubernatorial candidacy of Governor Phil Murphy: Hudson County Democratic Chairman Vincent Prieto, Bergen County Democratic Chairman Lou Stellato, and Passaic County Democratic Chairman John Currie.
A source who spied George Norcross and Christie together did not – or could not – out of earshot – divine any substance of their conversation.
Phil Murphy – too extreme, even for New Jersey. And that’s saying something. He wants to make us more like Connecticut. Or Illinois. Go ahead, Phil. Punish the producers, the wealthy. See if that helps you become President some day.
Norcross dictating what he wants and Christie doing what he is told. norcross is a serious problem. For decades Christie kept Norcross safe from state and federal investigations. Norcross, Christie, Sweeney and Trump should be indicted for obstructing justice and organized crimes
This is a suspicious planning meeting that is meant to promote Christie and give a norcross more power and money nationally. Norcross is controlling Christie and Trump for his own personal agenda. He is the master in dividing the democratic party and a white racist who supported Christie and Trump
George Needs to go over All that cash Christie gave him from the EDA. He’s trying to coverr his ass once this Audit is conducted. He knows he’s frauded the system, grossly misappriated funds, used money to do heinous crimes and money laundering to media sites, cyber schemes; kickbacks, cover ups and God know what else. I hope they all get exposed and caught. This is nightmarish
