Mercer County Freeholder Lucy Walter of Ewing will go after the assembly seat to be likely vacated by Assemblywoman Liz Muoio (D-15).

A source told InsiderNJ that Walter will have significant political support for the job.

The freeholder has served countywide since 1998, and her current term expires at the end of this year.
