Source: Randy Brown Versus Hirsh Singh for Guadagno’s LG

A source familiar with the thinking of Lieutenant Governor Kim Gudagno’s thinking on the subject told InsiderNJ that Evesham Mayor Randy Brown and engineer Hirsh Singh are on Guadagno’s  running mate short list.

On Tuesday night, Guadagno won the Republican nomination for LG.

Now she has less than a month to pick a running mate.

Her conquered primary foe, Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli (R-16) is apparently also under consideration, but “some people on on both sides aren’t sympathic.”

A Baltimore Ravens special teams coach, Brown kicked round his own potential 2017 run for governor for months – even years – before bowing out and backing Guadagno.

Singh came out of nowhere earlier this year to become the last contestant in the Republican gubernatorial sweepstakes. He spent over $1 million late in an ad campaign and ended up placing third, behind Guadagno and Ciatttarelli.
