Stack Backs Sweeney for Another Term as Senate President
Today, state Senator Brian P. Stack (D-33) formally endorsed Stephen M. Sweeney (D-3) for another term as State Senate President.
“In September of 2009, I was excited to be one of the first State Senators to offer my support to Steve as he sought the Senate Presidency, citing his ‘strong leadership and sound judgment,’” Stack said in a statement. “It is my contention that during the Senate President’s tenure, he has exemplified those attributes, making me proud to again lend my support to him for another term as Senate President. Steve is a friend who is responsive to the needs of my district and I look forward to continuing to work with him.”
